Every seat belt retractor is equipped with a complex mechanism that is engineered to lock up during an accident. The components are accompanied by a small explosive device known as the the inflator, triggered by the igniter, responsible for deploying in a timely matter. All this is controlled by a small sensor which communicates with the airbag system in your car. We completely replace the sensor, igniter and the inflator and rebuild the mechanism, making your seat belt like new again!

Seat belts are designed to only retract at one angle, and this is the position it is installed in your vehicle. Trying to have the seat belt released in any other position will not be possible. Simply install the seat belt in your car and it’ll work!
If your airbag light is still on after installing the repaired seat belt, you may have other SRS components in need or repair or replacement. Airbags, crash sensors, seat belts, clock spring and the SRS airbag module all communicate with each other. We recommend scanning your system to see what codes are still there.
